Touren am Jubiläumswochenende

Rund um den Michel schlägt das Hamburger Herz - hier stehen die ältesten Häuser der Freien und Hansestadt Hamburg aus dem 18. Jahrhundert. Entdeckt mit mir rund um den Großneumarkt das Komponistenviertel mit den Wohnungen von Bach, Brahms und Mendelssohn und die Laeiszhalle. Wir besichtigen das Hamburger Wahrzeichen, den Michel, und stöbern in den Krameramtsstuben der Seemannswitwen und trinken einen Galao plus Nata im Portugiesenviertel in Hafennähe, wo das Fernweh die Phantasie beflügelt. Vorbei an den skandinavischen Seemannskirchen (Dänemark, Finnland, Norwegen und Schweden) wandern wir zu den St. Pauli Landungsbrücken und schauen auf den Hamburger Hafen, Dreh- und Angelpunkt unserer Heimatstadt. Dort könnt ihr optional auf eigene Faust eine Hafenrundfahrt machen (diverse Angebote an den Landungsbrücken).

Around St. Michael’s Church (“Michel”), the heart of Hamburg beats strongest — this is where the oldest houses of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg from the 18th century still stand. Join me in exploring the Composers’ Quarter around Großneumarkt, including the homes of Bach, Brahms, and Mendelssohn, as well as the Laeiszhalle concert hall. We will visit Hamburg’s famous landmark, the Michel, browse the Krameramtsstuben — the historic homes of sailors’ widows — and enjoy a galão and a pastel de nata in the Portuguese Quarter near the harbor, where the longing for distant places sparks the imagination. Passing by the Scandinavian seamen’s churches (Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden), we will walk to the St. Pauli Landungsbrücken and look out over the Port of Hamburg, the central hub of our hometown. From there, you may optionally take a harbor cruise on your own (various tours available at the Landungsbrücken).
